Lesson 7 - Bass Clef Spaces
When sight reading, don’t panic about bass clef. The same reading secrets apply to treble or bass clef (and there are more than just these two clefs, just in case you wanted to know!) Steps, skips, steady beat, feeling the time signature – all these remain helpful. You just need to learn the bass clef notes, and have plenty of practice until you can identify them quickly. (Again, the Note Reading book in the Sight Reading Secrets series will help a lot with this skill.)
